A 35-year-old man from Etawah district, Uttar Pradesh died after his wife bit him him for refusing to let her visit her parents in Fatehpur.
Arvind was living with his wife, two children and mother Gulabi. On Thursday, Arvind got into a heated argument with Gomti over the her visiting her parents, which soon turned physical when Gomti started biting him.
The neighbors who heard the screams and tried to enter the house but the door was locked. Moments later, Gulabi informed the neighbours about what was going on and they broke open the door, only to find Arvind lying in a pool of blood with grievous injuries on his neck and shoulders.
“When the neighbors reached Arvind’s house he was unconscious and after sometimes he started vomiting. He was then admitted to the district hospital before alerting the local police,” said a police official.
While Arvind died of excessive bleeding due to his injuries, Gomti managed to escape with the children. Gomti has been charged with section 304 (Punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of IPC.
