After the Pakistani cricket team lost to India in the ongoing World T20, Pakistani cricket fans in different parts of the country went on a rampage destroying television sets.

Well, can we really blame them? Pakistan has waited quite a while for its first World Cup victory over India in either formats. Reportedly, one fan said, “We Pakistanis would like to see the team win against India at least once in our lifetime.”

Few of the enraged fans even accused the Pakistani team of match-fixing. They added that it looked as though the whole team was paid to lose as the team hadn’t even made an effort to win the match.

Some of the fans were just plain disappointed. Reportedly, one fan said, “Pakistan woman team are playing better than the men team.” Another fan added, “We should throw out these players and bring in new set of players, anyone can play better than them.”

The sporting rivalry is so strong between these two nations that to some fans a victory over India is all that counts. A woman supporter was quoted as saying, “Even if we win World Cup, Its useless as we lost the match to India.”
