Following the tragic death of the popular television actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who was found hanging in her house, actress and entertainer Rakhi Sawanth suggested that the best way to curb suicides would be by banning ceiling fans!
At a recent press conference, Rakhi walked in with a ceiling fan in her hand, raised it in the air calling it the root cause of suicide. She even pleaded Narendra Modi to ban ceiling fans. In a stern voice, she urged people to replace them with table fans or air conditioners.
Meanwhile, Cine & Tv Artistes’ Association or CINTAA plans to tie-up with psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and senior actors to offer counselling sessions for actors to help them overcome failures and depression.
