#Rio2016: These Mexican swimmers performed to Akshay Kumar’s Aila Re Aila
Bollywood has truly taken over the world and no, it is not just the Khans who boast of a global fan following. We saw how followers of the Indian hockey team at Rio danced to the beats of Kala Chashma when the team scored a goal. While the team failed to win a medal, the Rio Olympics are still giving us a glimpse of Bollywood.
The Rio Olympics had a Mexican synchronized swimming duo perform to a peppy dance number of Akshay Kumar – Aila Re Aila – from the movie Khatta Meetha. Karem Achach and Nuria Diosdado danced to the popular song of 2010, which was composed by Pritam and sung by Daler Mehndi. Their brilliant performance earned them a spot in the finals. However, they failed to win a medal in the end.

Watch their performance here.
