Shahrukh Khan’s 1993 romantic psychological thriller Darr established him as an actor to reckon with in Bollywood. The creepy, obsessive lover-stalker blew our minds away in the YRF movie. And now, YRF’s digital studio Y-Films is all set to reboot the movie into a mini web series.

The youth entertainment studio is only 10 months old, but it already has superhit web series to its credit, like Man’s World and Sex Chat With Pappu & Papa. Now, it is gearing up with a reboot of the cult YRF thriller Darr, with a modern twist, as a five part mini web series, Darr 2.0.

This mini web series will also have the characters Rahul, Kiran and Sunil from the original movie, but their lives will be weaved together in a tale of cyber stalking and digital crime. The series is directed by Vikas Chandra and produced by Ashish Patil.
