Seldom do we come across actors being all praises for another actor, and it pleasantly surprises us even more when the good words for an Indian actor are coming from an international star.

Global icon Tom Hanks, who will now be seen in the film adaptation of Dan Brown’s Inferno, is all praises for Irrfan Khan, who is also co-starring in the movie with him. Admitting to the media while promoting Inferno, Tom Hanks said that he enjoyed all the attention and rejoiced being the “coolest guy” on the sets of the movie, but only till Irrfan Khan walked in.

At the global press conference, Hanks confessed that he hated Irrfan for taking away the limelight from him. He said, “Here’s why I hate Irrfan Khan… I always think I’m the coolest guy in the room, and everybody’s hanging on to every word I say and everybody’s a little intimidated to be in my presence. And then Irrfan Khan walks into the room. And he’s the coolest guy in the room.”

Hanks has earlier also said some good things about his Indian co-star when he said to a popular publication, “He’s like an Indian version of Sir Laurence Olivier or Sean Connery.”

The adaptation of the 2013 novel will release in theaters on October 14.
