The teaser of Vijay’s next, Theri, is out and within hours it had crossed a few lakh views.
It’s all that you except of a typical Vijay entertainer – fast-paced, with lots of action, romance and Ilayathalapathy brand of humour. Vijay plays a cop and there are also glimpses of him in a nerdy look. Speculation continues whether the mass hero is playing a dual role in the film.
Theri is directed by Atlee, who made his debut with a completely different sort of film, Raja Rani. We’ll have to wait and see how he handles a masala flick which is a showcase for Vijay’s typical punch dialogues, mannerisms and histrionics.
The film stars Amy Jackson and Samantha in key roles, but they don’t appear in the teaser which is going to be one of the most-viewed in Kollywood in recent times.
