As Chennai battles its way back to normalcy after the recent massive floods, a group of Sikh volunteers have offered a helping hand to the city’s distressed citizens.

Volunteers of Khalsa Aid, a non-profit organisation that has in the past hit headlines for its contributions in Mumbai, Syria etc., have been providing fruits, bread and bedsheets to flood-affected victims of Chennai.

Led by volunteer Pawanpreet Kaur, pictures of this noble mission went viral, with people praising and applauding their efforts.

Their Facebook post adds, “Khalsa Aid is grateful to all the wonderful volunteers who took time out of their busy lives to help the needy. Thank you guys.”
