At first glance, Saya looks like a normal Japanese schoolgirl, but there is something truly remarkable about her. She is fully computer generated and is not a real person.
She is the creation of Tokyo based computer graphic artists Teruyuki and Yuki Ishikawa.
The duo who also happen to be married to each other, started working on Saya project in 2015. They have worked constantly improve her and make her more life like.

The artist couple who have day-to-day jobs, created Saya as a side project, only working on her during spare time. Reportedly, the couple is also working on making armor and other types of equipment for Saya and are looking to further improve her, to make the skin and hair even more realistic.
