Indian actors have always striven hard to prove their worth on the global stage.  From the time of Satyajit Ray, artists have entered and conquered Hollywood sensibilities after their own fashion.

Recently while we were all elated with the news that Bollywood star Neil Nitin Mukesh bagged a role in the famous Game of Thrones series, our joy doubled when we just chanced upon Anupam Kher’s tweet:

Though Hollywood is not new to Kher, this shows how Bollywood is living its Hollywood dream at this very moment. We take a look at other Indian actors who are showing great promise in big American ventures.

Priyanka Chopra in Quantico

PC’s entry into the American TV thriller Quantico grabbed plenty of media attention. In the series, the Barfi actress plays the lead role of a young FBI recruit Alex Parish. What’s more, she’s now been nominated in the Favourite Actress in a New TV Series category  for the People’s Choice Award 2016. If she wins that, it’ll just prove that PC has made a big impact in US TV as well.
