Review Central: Hamari Adhuri Kahani: Painful, disappointing, outdated
There was plenty of hype in the run-up to the release of Hamari Adhuri Kahani. Now the verdict is out and it appears the film has nothing to commend it.
This, despite the talented cast of Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi and Rajkummar Rao. The story is by Mahesh Bhatt and critics expecting a sensitive exploration of relationships have been left disappointed.
‘Painful’, ‘cliched’ and ‘lacking intensity’ are other ways in which they’ve described the film. The Indian Express gave it a pitiful ½ star on 5.
